Fender Lite Ash Stratocaster Overview This Korean made Stratocaster sports a very nice natural finish. This specific guitar dates from 2008. Weighing in at: 8lb 0.3oz or 3.638kg. These Lite Ash guitars were part of Fender’s Special Edition series from 2004-2008. They also featured model finished in White and Black. Condition The guitar itself is in very good condition, there are one or two very light surface scratches to the body and pickguard as you would expect for a almost 20 year old guitar. There are no huge dings or chunks out of the body or neck. If you are looking for a mint guitar then this is probably the closest you will find at this price point. There is a very minor lacquer crack in the lower side of the neck pocket. It does not affect the guitar's playability in any way. The frets themselves are in really really good shape for a guitar of this age, there is some very minor wear to the higher frets. The truss rod fully works there has been no headstock breaks or repairs. Everything appears to be all original too.
