Here was have for sale is a 2019 Fender Meteora form Mexico. Part of the Fender Alternate Reality series is was Fender's Mexican Made version of the USA made Parallel Universe Series from 2018.
PLEASE NOTE: The body has had a finish repair on the edge of the body above the arm contour. The repair was professionally completed by KGB Music in Birkenhead. The repair affects the guitar cosmetically but does not affect its playability. In different light the repair can look darker in contrast to the rest of the finish. There is also a blemish in the finish on the back of the guitar near to the string ferrules. This is a manufacture issue and is under the clear coat. Please check the photo's carefully before buying. The Meteora features an offset alder body with a maple neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard. The offset enlongated pickguard houses the controls which feature a master tone control and two volume controls, one for each pickup. The volume controls can be switched by pressing the small button on the pickguard. This model has a pair of Player humbuckers providing the tones. These can be adjusted via two volume controls and a push/pull tone control, which allows players to split the coils. Other notable features include an alder body, Modern C-shaped maple neck with a pau ferro fingerboard and a flatter 12” radius, plus an Adjusto-matic bridge with string-through body holes. The Spec sheet is below and the guitar comes with a Fender gig bag and case candy. A note about Fender Serial Numbers; MX stands for Mexico and 19 is the year. Years usually change around mid March so a 2019 serial number is from late March 2019 to early March 2020. Fender confirm the guitar was made in March 2019.
